DAY 1 Arrival to Queenstown

On arrival in Queenstown, you will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2 Shotover and Kawarau Rivers 60 Minute Jet Boat Ride

Morning breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy the tour. The twin-engine Jetboat excursion begins by crossing crystal clear Lake Wakatipu surrounded by majestic mountains and stunning scenery. Zoom under the Kawarau Dam onto the deep green waters of the Kawarau River complete with 360 spins before navigating the fast-moving currents of the narrow, braided Shotover River, traveling up shallow channels in water less than 10 centimeters deep. Return to the Main Town Pier for a complimentary visit into the Queenstown Underwater Observatory to get close with lake life.

DAY 3 Transfer from Queenstown to Franz Josef

Morning breakfast Check out from the Hotel in Queenstown and we will transfer you from Queenstown to Franz Josef and then book the transfer from the city center to the Hotel and do your check-in and further time will be at Leisure.

DAY 4 Franz Josef Glacier Valley Walk

Morning breakfast and Take a 3-hour guided hike to the terminal face of Franz Josef Glacier, scrambling along an exclusive pathway over the riverbed of the mighty Waiho. During the interpretive valley walk to the glacier, your guide covers the geographical features of this magnificent alpine landscape. Upon reaching the viewpoint, you’re treated to an up-close look at the advancing glacier. DAY 6 Half Day City Sightseeing - Discover Christchurch

Morning breakfast at Hotel, Following the pickup from guests accommodation, the tour commences by covering the central city highlights, including Cathedral You will be collected from your Hotel/Motel, the tour then travels through the University of Canterbury, down to Riccarton House and Bush and then through Monavale Gardens where you will have a chance to have a short stroll with 5.5 hectares of richly landscaped gardens, ponds, and fountains. Following the pickup from guests accommodation, the tour commences by covering the central city highlights, including Cathedral You will be collected from your Hotel/Motel, the tour then travels through the University of Canterbury, down to Riccarton House and Bush and then through Monavale Gardens where you will have a chance to have a short stroll with 5.5 hectares of richly landscaped gardens, ponds, and fountains. The tour then continues into the central city, through Hagley park, the boat sheds, Botanical Gardens Arts Centre in the historic buildings that were once Canterbury University, past the Museum, Art Gallery and Victoria Clock Tower before moving on to the Catholic Basilica, then onto the seaside suburb of Sumner, then to Lyttleton Harbour, a volcanic crater which is now the port of Christchurch. The tour then ends with a visit to the Sign of the Takahe, situated on the volcanic ridges of the cashmere hills, provides spectacular views of the Canterbury Plains and the Southern Alps, you will be then returned to your accommodation.

DAY 7 Check out and Departure
